Our Beliefs

We believe that...

  • Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; John 8:29)

  • Jesus was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins (Matthew 26:28; 1 Corinthians 15:2–4)

  • Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:46; Mark 16:6)

  • We are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin (Ephesians 2:8–9)

  • God created human beings distinctly as male and female (Gen 1:27). The distinctness, complementarity, and relational nature of the human race as “male and female” is based on the created order given by God when He created humanity “in His image” (Gen 1:26-27; 5:1-3; 9:6; 1 Cor 11:7; James 3:9; 2 Cor 3:18; Eph 4:23-24; Col 3:10), and these establish a normative connection between biological sex and gender.

  • Wellness is a means to glorify God, but not the primary responsibility as a Christ follower. In other words, a relationship with God, and spiritual transformation is more important than physical transformation.

  • In worshiping the Creator (God) over creation.
